Want to know how to search your Gmail or Google Drive from your Chrome browser window?
Check this out: Open Chrome. Right click the omni box (search box at the top of the screen) and choose “EDIT SEARCH ENGINES.” Scroll to “Other Search Engines,” and click “ADD.”
Google Drive- Name the search engine, “Google Drive,” and the keyword, “drive.” Copy and paste the search URL, “https://drive.google.com/#search?q=%s.” Click ADD.
Try it. Open Chrome and type the keyword into the omni box and hit space. Enter your search terms.
Search your Gmail directly from Chrome browser: Repeat the instructions above and name the search engine, “Google Mail.” Type “mail” as the keyword. Copy and paste the drive URL, https://mail.google.com/mail/ca/u/0/#apps/%s and click ADD.Tags: browser, gmail, mail, search mail
