How do I emphasize text in Google comments?

2019-07-24 20:56

Want to add comments to a Google Doc, Slide, Sheet, or Drawing?  Want to make an emphasis, but without typing in all caps? WANT TO MAKE COMMENTS WITHOUT MAKING IT LOOK LIKE YOU ARE SHOUTING AT YOUR STUDENTS?

To bold a word in your comment, type an asterisk before and after the word.      *word*  = word

To italicize a word in your comment, type an underscore before and after the word.    _word_  =  word

To make a strikethrough in your comment, type a  hyphen before and after the word.  (can't make a strikethrough for you, sorry)
